Research
Nexor was formed out of communication research projects at Nottingham University and University College London, to take the expert knowledge of how to build large scale, interoperable communication systems to the commercial marketplace. Our research background and tradition has been a key driving factor behind all Nexor’s research and development, leading to a stream of market firsts. Our most recent research programme included the sponsorship of a PhD research program and thesis into secure role-based messaging at the University of Kent.
Ongoing research themes for Nexor are:
- Data guarding
- Virtualisation and miniaturisation
- Security policy management
- Security labelling
As well as our own investment, we undertake to work on funded research programmes and are members of the Security Innovation and Technology Consortium dedicated to promoting security industry growth through greater exploitation of innovation and technology in security solutions.
