Fast Track, Virtualised Secure Message Handling Hailed a Success

Further to the launch of its revolutionary Virtual Military Message Handling System (VMMHS), the fast track approach to the provision of MMHS, Nexor is pleased to confirm successful implementation in several countries not only for defence ministries, but also for interior and justice departments who are starting to look for higher grade security within their messaging systems.

Both end users and systems integrators alike have been able to install the VMMHS quickly and easily in order to assess and test the functionality within their own environment. Feedback received from users confirms that the VMMHS is simple and effective to ‘operate’, thus cutting out the significant effort usually associated with learning about MMHS and requirements gathering.

Designed for use in demonstration and testbed environments, VMMHS implements high grade, NATO compliant messaging in both a fixed strategic domain and a tactical HQ. The system uses Microsoft Windows, Outlook and Exchange to underpin a Nexor MMHS messaging infrastructure comprising clients, mailboxes and gateways. Nexor supplies VMMHS on a hard disk with a series of pre-configured key demonstration scenarios for familiarisation. The system includes the ability to create new demonstration scenarios and the facility to modify, extend and enhance the configuration to aid training and requirements planning. VMMHS is also suitable for use in a proof of concept or pilot situation for which Nexor offers a range of professional services to assist in the requirements capture, architecture design and implementation stages.
