Enabling protectively marked material to be shared using SharePoint

The Microsoft Forefront UAG (Unified Access Gateway) provides a general framework to allow authenticated remote clients to securely access application data behind a corporate firewall over a web connection. The UAG provides controlled access to the application web pages that serve the requested data. For example, if using Outlook Web Access/App (OWA) to read email, UAG determines whether to grant access to the required OWA web pages.

Nexor Watchman was first developed for the UK intelligence community in the 1990s. This mature, robust and versatile technology underpins Nexor’s high assurance guard and gateway products and Nexor has now applied the Watchman technology in a Microsoft Forefront UAG environment to provide added security.
